Registering his regenerated L2 for university

My Prompt: Can a human clone, like a perennial flower blossoms during its life cycles, then is regenerated with that identical genotype for a fresh cycle, be viewed as one more perennial species? Are perennial flowers distinct entities each generation - would that be the way to view them? Or are we being anthropomorphic by ascribing consciousness and memories to humans alone, and subjectively disallowing them to be seen as integral individuals regardless of subjective mental activity?
